Jumanji Takes Over

The second installment in the Jumanji franchise, "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" made $14.41M at the Australian box office for Sony on its first week of release, topping the Disney's stronghold,  "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" for the week commencing 28th of December 2017. The original Jumanji film, which was released on 21st of March 1996, made $2.3M on its first week according to the MPDAA.
