Backrooms topped the New Zealand box office in its opening week with $1.25M, marking the highest opening week for a horror film in New Zealand since 2017.
Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is in the No. 2 spot with $805k, bringing its total to $1.92M.
Michael took the No. 3 spot with $785k, pushing its total to $6.32M.
Obsession is continuing to grow in its third week, landing in the No. 4 spot with $525k and bringing its total to $942k.
